The Lagos State Waterways Authority (LASWA) has notified the public about a movie simulation exercise scheduled to take place on waterways in Lagos, urging residents and waterway users not to panic if they notice unusual activities.

Zilla Naija gathered that the exercise is part of a film production titled “Headless”, which will involve simulated activities on the waterways.

According to LASWA, the activity is strictly a controlled movie production exercise and does not pose any danger to the public.

In a public notice released by the agency, residents were advised to remain calm if they observe unusual movements of boats, equipment, or film crews in the area during the production period.

Safety Measures in Place

LASWA assured all users of the Lagos Inland Waterways that necessary safety precautions have been put in place to ensure the exercise is conducted smoothly.

The authority emphasized that the simulation is being carried out under supervision and in line with safety guidelines.

Waterway users, including boat operators and commuters, are therefore advised not to raise alarm if they encounter scenes related to the film production.

The statement was signed by the management of LASWA, reaffirming the agency’s commitment to ensuring safety and order on Lagos waterways during the exercise.

Zilla Naija reports that Lagos waterways are frequently used for transportation and commercial activities, making it important for authorities to inform the public ahead of such simulations to prevent confusion or panic.
