Iran has launched a fresh wave of missile attacks targeting central Israel, marking a significant escalation in the ongoing conflict involving Iran, Israel, and the United States.

According to reports, the overnight strike involved advanced missiles carrying multiple warheads, which are designed to make interception more difficult for air defence systems.

Casualties and Damage Reported

The attack reportedly killed two people in Ramat Gan, a city close to Tel Aviv.

Several others were injured by falling debris, while buildings and infrastructure sustained damage, including a train station in Tel Aviv.

Iran Claims Retaliation

In a statement, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said the strike was carried out in retaliation for the killing of Ali Larijani.

Iran described the operation as revenge for what it called the assassination of the senior figure and his associates.

Fear and Panic Across Israel

Reports from the region indicate widespread panic as sirens sounded across parts of central Israel.

According to journalist Nida Ibrahim, it was a tense and frightening night for residents, with many scrambling for safety as explosions were heard.

The victims, reportedly an elderly couple, were unable to reach a safe shelter in time, raising concerns about the response time of warning systems.

Rising Tensions

The latest strike underscores the growing intensity of the conflict, which is now entering its third week.

Analysts warn that continued escalation could lead to wider regional instability, with increasing risks to civilians and critical infrastructure.

Global attention remains focused on efforts to de-escalate the situation, though no immediate breakthrough appears in sight.
