Stakeholders in Southern Borno have called for a new political strategy and alignment following the formal declaration of Kudla Milinda Satumari Haske as the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for Askira/Uba/Hawul Federal Constituency.
Haske declared his intention to contest the seat on Thursday at a rally in his constituency, where he said his ambition was driven by the urgent need to address insecurity, poor infrastructure and economic neglect.

Addressing supporters, Haske said the protection and welfare of the people would be his top priority if elected to the House of Representatives.
