Troops Rescue Two-Year-Old Boy From Kidnappers in Kaduna

Troops have rescued a two-year-old boy who was abducted alongside his mother by suspected kidnappers in Sanga Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

The child, identified as Jafaru Baba, was rescued on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, during a military operation launched following intelligence on the movement of the kidnappers and their victims.

According to security sources, the troops commenced a search operation around Tayu High Grounds in Tayu Village and adjoining areas in Sanga LGA at about 4:00 p.m., as they intensified efforts to locate the abducted mother and child.
