Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has hit back at governors elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) over their opposition to his “Rainbow Coalition”, insisting that President Bola Tinubu is fully aware of his political activities ahead of the 2027 elections.
Wike made the remarks during an interview with ARISE NEWS on Tuesday night, September 15, 2026, hours after the Progressive Governors Forum (PGF), led by Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma, rejected political alliances that could weaken the APC or undermine Tinubu’s re-election bid.
The FCT minister described the APC governors as “politically lazy”, arguing that they misunderstood the purpose of his coalition and had no basis to question his political engagements.
