Professor Pat Utomi has commenced consultations with opposition presidential candidates and leaders of their political parties as part of efforts to produce a single candidate for the 2027 presidential election.
The consultations are being coordinated by the Movement for Credible Elections (MCE), through its Political Commission chaired by Utomi.
According to MCE Media Coordinator, James Ezema, the commission will hold closed-door meetings with selected opposition candidates and their party leaders ahead of a tactical session scheduled to take place in Ibadan in the coming weeks.
