Adamawa police deploys tight security ahead of vice president’s visit

The Adamawa State Police Command has deployed additional security personnel and operational assets across Yola and other strategic locations ahead of the official visit of the Vice President of Nigeria to the state.

The Commissioner of Police, Adamawa State Command, CP Kabir Umar Hassan, said the deployment is aimed at ensuring a peaceful and hitch-free visit.

He said personnel from the Police Mobile Force, Counter Terrorism Unit, Anti-Kidnapping Unit, Intelligence Unit, Traffic Unit and various police divisions have been mobilised for the exercise.
