The Northern States Christian Elders Forum (NOSCEF) has called on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to urgently reverse the latest increase in the pump price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), warning that the development could further worsen the economic hardship facing Nigerians.
The forum made the call in a statement signed by its Chairman, Elder Sunday Oibe, expressing concern over rising hunger, insecurity, unemployment, transportation costs and declining purchasing power across the country.

NOSCEF said millions of Nigerians were already struggling to meet their basic needs and that another increase in the cost of petroleum products would place additional pressure on households.
