Six supporters of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) have reportedly died in a road accident in Nasarawa State, throwing the state into mourning.
The victims, said to be supporters of former Inspector-General of Police, IGP Mohammed Abubakar Adamu, were involved in the fatal crash on Monday.
News of the accident sparked reactions across the state, with Senator Ahmed Aliyu Wadada, representing Nasarawa West Senatorial District and the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in the state, expressing grief over the deaths.
