Veteran Nigerian actor and film executive, Oludotun Baiyewun Jacobs, popularly known as Olu Jacobs, has reportedly died at the age of 84.
According to a statement attributed to his family on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, the acclaimed actor passed away after decades of service to Nigerian and international theatre, television and film.

His son, Olusoji Jacobs, reportedly confirmed the development in a post shared on Instagram, describing the deceased as a beloved husband, father, grandfather and uncle.
