FULL LIST: FG Unveils 10 Measures to Cushion Nigerians Against Rising Petrol Prices

The Federal Government has unveiled 10 measures aimed at reducing the impact of rising petrol prices on households, businesses and transport users, while maintaining its position against a return to blanket fuel subsidy.

The Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Taiwo Oyedele, announced the measures on Thursday during a press briefing in Abuja on the rising cost of petrol and the government’s subsidy policy.

According to Oyedele, the interventions are designed to provide immediate relief, moderate price volatility and protect vulnerable Nigerians without reversing the government’s fuel subsidy reforms.
