Senator Ishaku Elisha Abbo (SIA), the Labour Party candidate for the 2027 Adamawa State governorship election, has intensified his grassroots engagement across religious and community groups, saying effective leadership requires sustained interaction with the people beyond election periods.
Abbo stated this while expressing appreciation to Ebenezer Mission International USA, Nigeria Office, for organising a one-day retreat attended by more than 1,500 leaders from the Lutheran Church of Christ in Nigeria (LCCN), Yola Diocese.
The former senator described the gathering as an opportunity for faith, leadership, fellowship and renewed commitment to service.
