Professor Pat Utomi, scholar, activist and former presidential candidate, has said opposition parties in Nigeria do not necessarily need to produce a single presidential candidate to challenge the incumbent in the 2027 general elections.
Utomi argued that cooperation among opposition parties, particularly in election monitoring, vote protection, technology and policy coordination, could provide a more practical path than pressuring presidential aspirants to withdraw from the race.
