The US District Court for the Northern District of California issued the judgment on October 13, following a joint request by Obichere and the government for a consent judgment revoking her citizenship, reports Vanguard.
According to the US Department of Justice, Obichere fraudulently used the identity of an American citizen to obtain a passport and subsequently concealed the scheme during her naturalisation process.
In 1992, she allegedly used the name, Social Security number, birthplace and date of birth of a US citizen identified as C.C.O. to obtain an American passport illegally.
