Niger Tornadoes were held to a frustrating 0-0 draw by visiting Warri Wolves of Delta State on Wednesday in a keenly contested 2026/27 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) encounter in Minna.
Our correspondent reports that the result saw Warri Wolves return home with a valuable point after successfully frustrating the hosts, who created several opportunities but failed to find the back of the net throughout the 90 minutes.
Both sides started the encounter brightly, displaying good tactical discipline and defensive organisation as they battled for control of the game.
Tornadoes, playing in front of their home supporters, appeared determined to secure maximum points and mounted pressure at various stages of the match. However, their efforts were repeatedly thwarted by a well-organised Warri Wolves defence.
