Tinubu Extends Stay in France, to Return to Nigeria at Weekend — Presidency

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has extended his working vacation in Europe by a few days and is now expected to return to Nigeria at the weekend, the Presidency has announced.

The development was disclosed on Monday, September 21, 2026, in a statement by the President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.

Tinubu departed Nigeria on August 30 for London to begin his working vacation. After spending about a week in the United Kingdom, he travelled to Paris, France, where he held engagements with French President Emmanuel Macron and businessman Vincent Bolloré.
