At least seven people have been killed, 186 livestock lost and more than 340 homes destroyed in a fresh clash between Mambilla residents and Fulani pastoralists in Sardauna Local Government Area of Taraba State.
The violence, which occurred in Geroji settlements of Mbamnga Ward, also displaced more than 1,000 residents, with some fleeing across the border into neighbouring Cameroon, reports Daily Trust.
Residents and community leaders, however, said the death toll could be higher, as several people were still missing.
