NBA Demands Stronger Action Against Insecurity, Killings in Plateau

The four branches of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) in Plateau State have called for stronger measures to tackle persistent insecurity and killings across the state.

The branches, comprising Jos, Pankshin, Bukuru and Shendam, said the continued attacks on communities had raised serious constitutional and governance concerns, particularly regarding the protection of the right to life.

The Chairman of the NBA Jos Branch, who read the text of the press conference on behalf of the four branches, said recent attacks in Mangu, Barkin Ladi, Riyom and Bokkos had exposed weaknesses in the state’s security response.
