The Northern States Christian Elders Forum (NOSCEF) has called for deep national reflection, reconciliation and a new direction as Nigeria prepares to mark its 66th Independence Anniversary.
The forum made the call in a statement signed by its Chairman, Elder Sunday Oibe, stressing that the anniversary should be an opportunity to reflect on the country’s challenges rather than focus solely on celebrations and ceremonies.
NOSCEF expressed concern over ethnic, religious, regional and political divisions in the country, urging Nigerians to rebuild trust and promote national unity.
