The Federal Government has directed authorities of Federal Unity Colleges across Nigeria to strengthen security measures ahead of the resumption of academic activities on Monday, September 14, 2026.
The Federal Ministry of Education said relevant security agencies had been notified of the resumption arrangements and were maintaining heightened vigilance around the colleges and their immediate environments.
The ministry disclosed this in a statement issued on Friday by Boriowo Folasade, Director of Press and Public Relations, as students, parents and school authorities prepare for the new academic session.
