The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Professor Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, has commenced a two-week vacation outside Nigeria after a demanding first year at the helm of the ruling party.
The APC said the break was necessary for the National Chairman to rest, rejuvenate and reflect on the responsibilities ahead as the party prepares for the 2027 general elections.

In a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media and Information Strategy, Abimbola Tooki, the party said Yilwatda had spent the past year engaged in extensive consultations, travels, meetings and strategic activities aimed at strengthening the APC and positioning it for the next electoral cycle.
