Governor Sani threw the challenge on Saturday at the Kaduna Township Stadium when President Bola Ahmed Tinubu officially flagged off his re-election campaign for the 2027 presidential election.
Addressing a mammoth crowd of APC supporters, Sani said the opposition candidate from the North-East has no tangible track record to campaign with.
“We asked him, can you show us a track record? Until this moment, the so-called northern candidate has not shown us his track record. No track record. And we keep asking,” the governor said.
He compared the candidate’s record with that of the current administration, saying over 1,000 kilometres of roads have been constructed in the North-East under Tinubu’s government.
