“What Did You Do With the Power We Gave You?” — Wosi Slams Senators, Reps, Says We Can’t Blame Tinubu Alone

Elder Mark Wosi has called for greater public scrutiny of the National Assembly, arguing that Nigeria’s current economic, security and social challenges should not be attributed solely to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the executive arm of government.

Wosi, Director General of the Omarana Campaign Organisation, made the call in a statement dated October 2, 2026, in which he challenged the 469 federal lawmakers to account for how they have used their constitutional powers to influence governance and hold the executive accountable.
