The United States has delivered a fresh consignment of military equipment to Nigeria as Washington and Abuja continue to deepen their security and defence cooperation.
The equipment was transported to Nigeria aboard a United States Air Force C-17 Globemaster III aircraft under the Foreign Military Sales arrangement between the two countries.

The United States Africa Command (AFRICOM) announced the delivery on Thursday, saying the consignment represented another step in the growing security partnership between Nigeria and the United States.
