The new salary structure approved for academic staff of Delta State-owned universities could strengthen staff morale and contribute to greater stability in the tertiary education sector, former Delta State Polytechnic, Ogwashi-Uku Governing Council Chairman, Dr. Omordi George Ugbomah, has said.
Ugbomah, who is also a Political Science lecturer at Dennis Osadebay University, Asaba, commended Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for approving the new remuneration structure.
