Tourism To Become Adamawa’s Economic Mainstay Soon – Govt

The Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Mr. Aloysius Babadoke, disclosed this on Thursday in Yola during activities marking the 2026 World Tourism Day celebration.

Babadoke said the government is deliberately investing in the state’s rich cultural heritage and tourism assets to create jobs, especially for youths, and showcase Adamawa’s cultural diversity to the world.

According to him, the state has over 38 identified cultural heritage sites which, if properly developed, could attract tourists, generate revenue and create employment.
