President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has concluded his working vacation in Europe and departed Paris, France, for Nigeria, with his aircraft expected to arrive at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, later today.
The Presidency disclosed this in a statement on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, saying the President would begin his return to official engagements in Nigeria with a stop in Lagos.
According to the statement, Tinubu chose to travel to Lagos ahead of Independence Day to honour the memory of the late Chief Moshood Kashimawo Olawale Abiola, widely regarded as a central figure in Nigeria’s democratic struggle.
