Tension reportedly erupted along Zaria Road in Kaduna when a group of youths allegedly confronted and chased Senator Lawal Adamu, popularly known as Mr LA, out of the area during a condolence visit.
The incident was said to have occurred while the Senator, who represents Kaduna Central Senatorial District, was visiting family members of the late Councillor, Hon. Ado Dankula, to commiserate with them over the death of their relative.

According to eyewitnesses, the youths expressed anger over what they described as poor representation, accusing the Senator of allegedly abandoning his constituents for more than three years after securing their votes.
