The curfew, which took effect on Monday, September 21, 2026, restricts movement in the three local government areas between 6:00pm and 6:00am daily until further notice.
The government also ordered an immediate ban on the use of motorcycles across the three LGAs as part of emergency measures to contain the deteriorating security situation.
The measures were contained in a statement signed by the Commissioner for Information and Communication, Joyce Lohya Ramnap.
