NDLEA Busts UK ‘Colos’ Pipeline, Seizes Over 2.3 Tonnes of Illicit Drugs Nationwide

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has dismantled several drug trafficking networks operating across multiple states, intercepting consignments linked to the United Kingdom and recovering more than 2.3 tonnes of assorted illicit drugs.

The operations, which spanned eight states, also exposed increasingly sophisticated methods allegedly employed by traffickers, including concealing narcotics inside music speakers and loaves of bread.

The seizures included Colorado, popularly known as “Colos,” tramadol, pregabalin, cannabis, diazepam, pentazocine, codeine syrup, flunitrazepam and MDMA, among other controlled substances.
