Social Democratic Party (SDP) presidential candidate, Adewole Adebayo, has said he would consider appointing Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister Nyesom Wike to his government if elected president, but would have to restrain the minister’s public utterances.
Adebayo made the remark during an interview with Symfoni, where he discussed governance, the performance of the Bola Tinubu administration and recent political developments, including the Osun State election.

While sharply criticising Wike’s public communication and what he described as the minister’s glorification of force and state power, Adebayo acknowledged his work ethic and the visible infrastructure projects executed in the FCT.
