For years, the people of Yola North, Yola South and Girei Federal Constituency have cried of a gap – a gap of representation that is felt, not just seen. They have had lawmakers, but not leadership. They have had occupants of the seat, but not owners of their problems.

That gap is why APC stakeholders, Adamawa elders and statesmen had to go and call Engr. Salihijo Ahmad Salihijo, the former MD/CEO of the Rural Electrification Agency (REA), to come and give purposeful representation.
