The 2027 governorship race in Adamawa State is beginning to reveal its early tactical lines, and the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Ahmed Galadima Aminu, appears to be making a calculated move towards grassroots consolidation and political moderation.
This much was evident during his recent interactive meeting with APC candidates who contested the last local government elections for chairmanship, vice chairmanship and councillorship positions across the 21 LGAs of the state.
The meeting, which is part of Galadima’s ongoing stakeholder engagements, was more than a routine parley. It was a strategic embrace of the party’s foot soldiers — the men and women who have direct contact with polling units, wards and communities.
