The former legislative leaders reached the decision at a meeting held on Monday at the Kaduna State Civil Service Commission, where they deliberated on strategies to strengthen the political support base of the two leaders ahead of the presidential campaign flag-off scheduled for October 24, 2026, in Kaduna.
The meeting was chaired by a former Speaker of the Kaduna State House of Assembly, Muazu Usman Gangara, and attended by former presiding and principal officers representing constituencies across the state.
Participants emphasised the need for unity, strategic coordination and effective grassroots mobilisation to consolidate the APC’s political structures and broaden public support for the party’s candidates ahead of the forthcoming elections.
