The Kano State Police Command has arrested five people over the alleged destruction of billboards and campaign posters belonging to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf and other political figures in the state.
The Commissioner of Police, Ibrahim Adamu Bakori, disclosed this while responding to journalists’ questions on security measures and the enforcement of the state’s ban on public horse-riding and processions.

According to Bakori, the arrests followed investigations into the alleged destruction of properties during heightened tensions surrounding horse-riding and public processions in parts of Kano.
