The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has arrested 70 suspects following an alleged robbery incident around Unity Fountain in the Maitama area of Abuja.
The arrests followed a directive by the FCT Commissioner of Police, Ahmed Muhammed Sanusi, after a video alleging the robbery circulated widely on social media, drawing public attention to the incident.

The Police Public Relations Officer, SP Josephine Adeh, disclosed this in a statement on Monday, saying operatives of the Maitama Divisional Police Headquarters launched coordinated raids on identified criminal flashpoints around Unity Fountain and its environs.
