Engr. Sunday Peter, a Kogi-born philanthropist and grassroots development advocate, has reaffirmed his commitment to people-centred leadership with a wide-ranging empowerment initiative in Olamaboro Local Government Area of Kogi State.
The intervention, which included the provision of solar lights, clothing materials, rice, cash support and scholarships, was aimed at supporting residents, strengthening livelihoods and creating opportunities for vulnerable members of the community.
The initiative also targeted market women, small-scale entrepreneurs and other residents, with the organisers describing it as part of efforts to promote rural development and improve socioeconomic conditions at the grassroots.
