The People Living With Disabilities and Vulnerable Support Initiative (ADPWDVSI) has called for a stronger partnership with the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Adamawa State Council, to promote disability inclusion, youth leadership and the rights of vulnerable groups across the state.
The organisation made the call during an advocacy visit to the NUJ Secretariat in Yola on Tuesday, ahead of its Non-Formal Education Youth Connect ,Inclusive Youth Leadership Pathway Project, scheduled to hold from October 26 to December 26, 2026, in Yola North Local Government Area.
The Head of Monitoring and Evaluation of ADPWDVSI, Abba Aliyu, said the organisation was founded in 2006 as a non-profit, grassroots and community-based initiative focused on supporting persons with disabilities and other vulnerable members of society.
