The Delta State Government, in collaboration with organised labour, has constituted an Administrative Panel of Inquiry to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death of Mr. Adeda Ekwevugbe, a Deputy Director in the Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education.
The development followed concerns raised by colleagues and various stakeholders within the state public service after the death of the civil servant at his workplace.
In a special government announcement issued on Thursday, September 25, 2026, the Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Kingsley Eze Emu, said the Police had commenced its own investigation into the incident.
