The African Democratic Congress (ADC) Presidential Campaign Council linked to former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar has criticised President Bola Tinubu’s administration over its handling of Ebola preparedness, demanding transparency regarding the reported ₦10 billion emergency fund announced by the Presidency in June.
The council accused the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) of diverting public attention from questions about the management of the emergency fund by focusing on the similarity between the names “Bola” and “Ebola” in its response to Atiku’s concerns.
In a statement issued on Friday, October 23, 2026, Phrank Shaibu, Director of Strategic Communication of the ADC Presidential Campaign Council, said Nigerians deserved clear answers about the government’s preparedness and response to the reported Ebola case in Abuja.
