Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate in Benue State, Michael Kaase Aondoakaa, has called on his supporters to remain peaceful and law-abiding following reports of the burning of campaign materials belonging to his movement.
Aondoakaa, in a statement titled “Let Peace Be Our Response to Provocation,” said he had received reports and seen images of the alleged destruction of campaign materials, describing the development as unfortunate.
He urged supporters across the 23 local government areas of Benue State not to retaliate or engage in acts that could escalate tensions during the political campaign.
