A former lawmaker and Director-General of the Border Communities Development Agency (BCDA), Abdulrazak Sa’ad Namdas, has urged the people of Adamawa State to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration in the 2027 general elections, arguing that the state stands to benefit from the continuity of the Renewed Hope Agenda.
Namdas, in a statement on the political future of Adamawa ahead of the 2027 elections, said the state had historically supported different political parties at the federal level based largely on expectations of development and federal intervention.
He noted that although the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) had traditionally enjoyed strong support in the state, Adamawa voters demonstrated in the 2015 presidential election that they could shift their allegiance when they believed another political platform offered better prospects.
