The Secretary to the Delta State Government, Dr. Kingsley Emu, has assured the family of late Mr. Unity Adeda that the state government will ensure that due process is followed in investigating the circumstances surrounding his death.
Emu gave the assurance on Saturday when he led senior government officials on a condolence visit to the family.
Adeda, a Level 16 civil servant in the Ministry of Secondary Education, reportedly died following an altercation at his workplace.
The SSG said the incident had saddened the state government, describing the deceased as a senior public servant who had contributed to the state through his years of service.
