Ashangwa community in Lafia Local Government Area of Nasarawa State witnessed a gathering of political, traditional and religious leaders on Friday as businessman and philanthropist Alhaji Adamu Bawa Maku, popularly known as AA Ashangwa, commissioned a palace and mosque built for the community.
The projects were initiated through AA Ashangwa Oil and Gas Nigeria Ltd as part of the businessman’s efforts to contribute to the development of his immediate community.
The commissioning ceremony attracted the Nasarawa State Governor, Engr. Abdullahi Sule, who was represented by the Commissioner for Water Resources, Hon. Muhammed Agah Muluku; Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Dr. Danladi Jatau; and Emir of Lafia, retired Justice Sidi Bage Muhammad.
