Paris Saint-Germain and Morocco defender Achraf Hakimi will stand trial in France over an alleged rape after the country’s highest court upheld the decision to prosecute him.
A judicial source confirmed on Wednesday that the Court of Cassation rejected Hakimi’s challenge against an earlier decision ordering him to face trial before a criminal court in the Hauts-de-Seine department.
Hakimi, 27, has consistently denied the allegation.
