The APC Governorship Candidate in Adamawa State, Ahmed Galadima Aminu, has expressed sadness over the death of elder statesman and former Governor of the old Gongola State, Alhaji Bamanga Muhammad Tukur, CON.
In a condolence message issued on Saturday, Galadima described Tukur’s death as a monumental loss to Adamawa State and Nigeria, noting his contributions to public service, business, politics and national development.
He said Tukur’s distinguished career included serving as General Manager and Chief Executive of the Nigerian Ports Authority, Governor of the old Gongola State, Minister of Industries and National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party.
