Eggon communities across Lafia and Obi Local Government Areas of Nasarawa State have endorsed Hon. Solomon Yakubu Akwashiki, the Social Democratic Party (SDP) candidate for the Lafia/Obi Federal Constituency, ahead of the 2027 House of Representatives election.
The endorsement was made in Lafia during a gathering attended by representatives of the Eggon Council of Elders, Eggon Cultural and Development Association (ECDA), Eggon Youth Association (EYA), ECDA Women Wing and Ame Wo Ba Eggon (AWBE).
Akwashiki, who represents Lafia Central Constituency in the Nasarawa State House of Assembly and chairs the House Committee on Public Accounts, promised to attract more Federal Government projects to the constituency if elected to the National Assembly in 2027.
