12 Killed, 309 Injured as Deadly Attack Hits Saudi Airport

At least 12 people have been killed and 309 others injured following a deadly attack on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, amid escalating tensions between Saudi-backed forces and Yemen’s Houthi rebels.

The Saudi civil aviation authority confirmed the casualties on Saturday, saying some of the injured were in critical condition. The victims included four Saudi nationals, two Bangladeshis and citizens of the United States, Jordan, Palestine, Syria, Sudan and Egypt.

Airport operations have been suspended following the attack, which reportedly struck a passenger terminal, leaving civilians and airport workers among the casualties.
