The Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, has called on members of the PBAT Door-to-Door Campaign Team to intensify grassroots mobilisation and engage directly with voters across the state ahead of the 2027 general elections, expressing confidence in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election prospects.
Ododo gave the charge on Saturday when he received members of the movement at Government House, Lokoja, where he urged them to take the President’s campaign message to communities, streets and settlements across the state through sustained engagement with residents.
The governor stressed that effective political mobilisation required more than distributing campaign materials, urging the coordinators to build stronger relationships with the people and communicate the policies and achievements of the Tinubu administration.
He also called on the team to demonstrate appreciation for the support Kogi State had received from the Federal Government, particularly in the fight against insecurity.
