Keyamo Accuses Atiku of ‘Agitated Depression’, Links Criticism of Tinubu to 2023 Presidential Defeat

Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, has accused former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar of harbouring bitterness over President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s emergence as Nigeria’s president, alleging that the former presidential candidate is struggling to come to terms with his political defeat.

Keyamo made the allegations in a statement in which he described Atiku’s recent criticism of Tinubu as a manifestation of what he called “agitated depression,” a mental health-related term he used to characterise the former vice-president’s perceived frustration.

However, Keyamo provided no medical evidence to support the claim, which remains his personal political assessment rather than an established diagnosis.
